Skip the Trip was founded several years ago professionals who worked together in the Car Insurance Industry. They were tired of having to make a trip to the DMV each time they needed to transfer their plates or register their new car or that of a customer. They realized that by having only 12 DMV offices in the New York City

Metropolitan area, the state put a major burden on those offices to provide services to the over 10 million residents of this great city. By having only 12 offices to serve so many

New Yorker's, drivers and non-drivers, the state almost guaranteed long lines and long waits at every New York City DMV office! It was at that point, that they decided to obtain a license with the State Department of Motor Vehicles to provide the service to individuals and businesses out of the DMV. They can provide the same service the DMV does but without the lines, without the long wait times, without the hassle of having to make a trip and find parking, and without the bad attitude so many DMV employees give
customers! After being in the business now for so many years, the group of three is still working hard to make sure you don’t have to go to the DMV…ever again*!
